Maybe one day I will get there, along with a links page. But this will have to do for now.
For anyone that might be interested, both of the bodies shown above are for sale and can be shipped out within 2 days of receipt of payment. The Ferrari I will sell for $150 shipped in the US
and the Jordan can be yours for $175. As the Jordan was a bit of a rush job to get to a TCS race, I was not happy with the detailing of the cockpit, it will be redone before shipment to its new owner.
Both bodies include front and rear wings and the bodyset supplied wheel covers.

Next, I have a bunch of Decal Island decals that can be used to do a body for you or I would be willing to sell the sheets if there is one that you are looking for. Email me at designerbp@mac.com for a list of available sheets
Paintlab wearables are in the works as we speak, probably going to start with shirts and hats first.
Email me with orders, suggestions ,etc...

Some of you are probably asking “ What in the hell is that?”
This is another recent project in the lab. It is the body wheels and wings for a Serpent F180
Every once in a while a project comes along that tries your patience.
This was one of those projects.
First off , all the graphics are done in paint using masks, the only decals are on the wings.
Setting up the artwork for the car took some work, but wasn’t too bad.
The real fun began when I started shooting paint.
I use Createx airbrush color and Pactra Faskolor paints whenever possible because I can shoot them indoors with no fumes. I also use Tamiya paints as well because their color matching is awsome.
So what does that have to do with anything?
Well, on most bodies you can put one over the other with no problem.
For some reason the plastic that Serpent forms the bodies with will only accept certain paints.
When I put the Tamiya paint over the Faskolor, the shrinkage of the Tamiya paint wreaked havoc on the Faskolor. After 3 attempts at painting the fade on the nose of this body, I finally got something to stick, but it definitely affected the end result of the project.
The biggest let down of this project was keeping the customer waiting, because it dragged the project out longer than it should.
I’d like to thank the owner of this body for his patience with me over the duration of the project.

I do actually leave the lab every once in a while.
For instance, last weekend I attended the TCS race at S&N’s Trackside Hobbies in Brookfield, Wisconsin , which is a suburb of Milwaukee. The competition in the TCS series is fierce, for both Best of Show and the racing on track.
I am proud and happy to say that the car you see above left was selected as best in show for the F1 class. It was a very close decision though and came down to me and the car on the right, which was done by and belongs to none other than John Discher. In my opinion, Johns paintwork was maybe just a bit better than mine, but either car was worthy of the prize. John is doing studio shots of the Jordan as we speak, and I will post them as soon as they get here.

Its been a big week in the real F1 world. New cars with their new drivers, the return of Michael Schumacher, etc....
Meanwhile I have been down in the lab trying to keep up on my current project which is 3 cars at the moment.
I am looking at having some F!Paintlab paraphernalia done up to offer to all of you if you are interested.
I am thinking of starting out with shirts, hats, and stickers for openers. I would like to have some orders in hand before I commit the money to production. I will post some images of potential designs and let you guys decide if you would wear something like it.
Also I am contemplating the idea of having some finished bodies stockpiled. This is a big commitment on my part both from a time and financial standpoint. I appreciate everyone who has ever had me do a body for them, but I realize that I need to be quicker to deliver the finished product.
After these last couple of cars are done, I am going to start painting up a few that I think will be popular with all of you out there. I will still do made to order work, but I need to try and keep my inventory at a reasonable level which I think will be easier to do if I can simply box and ship when a request comes in.
Thats about it for now, look for another post in a few days

I figured out that it was linked to my old address , it has been fixed, so mail ‘em if ya got ‘em.
I should be posting the two latest creations in the next couple of days. They turned out very cool.
